She is best known for her work on the Tudor period of English history; her two-volume book "The Man on a Donkey" continues to be cited as one of the best historical novels ever written. [The sources are listed at the end of this section] I, myself, am an electronics engineer whose hobby is the study of the history of 19th and early 20th history Palestine, particularly the story of the settlement of the German Templers during the second half of the 19th century.
